Staying at this hotel for an off-season long weekend was a great experience overall. The rooms were clean, had everything you need, and were of a good size, perfect for a getaway with colleagues. The service, especially in terms of warming up baby food and the friendly staff, was top-notch. The location was absolutely wonderful, close to the city center, making it easy to explore the beautiful town. However, some reception colleagues were not as patient as others. Overall, a delightful stay.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with good amenities, but the shower in the room may not suit friends sharing. It provided a comfortable stay with a nice bed, coffee and tea facilities, and a small but efficient bathroom. The overall level of service was friendly but lacked experience. The location was excellent for sightseeing and accessing public transport, though lacking in certain amenities. The dining experience was plentiful with a good variety. However, the pricing could be more competitive.
The hotel is situated in a prime location, just inside the original city and close to museums, shops, and the market. The rooms offer interesting variations, overlooking an open courtyard, although the pricing per night may be a consideration. The service was friendly overall, but there was an issue with rudeness from staff when accessing bike parking. Dining had a decent variety, though some dishes lacked flavor. The location is convenient, with easy access to the town and business areas, and excellent parking facilities nearby.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was superb, right in the heart of Gouda, but the room, while simple and very clean, had a rock-hard bed. The service was friendly and helpful, although a bit inexperienced at times. The dining was excellent with a wide range of items but a bit disorganized.
